First Aid Measures

  • Contact with skin
    • Remove all contaminated clothes and footwear immediately unless stuck to skin
    • Wash immediately with plenty of soap and water
  • Contact with eyes
    • Check for and remove any contact lenses
    • Open eyes wide apart. Rinse opened eye with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes
    • Get medical attention
  • Ingestion
    • Wash out mouth with water
    • Do not induce vomiting
    • If conscious, give half a litre of water to drink immediately
    • Transfer to hospital as soon as possible
  • Inhalation
    • Remove casualty from exposure ensuring one’s own safety whilst doing so
    • Consult a doctor
